Pathways Built for Groups

Our route suggestions focus on roads and trails that can accommodate multiple riders moving together. Each pathway includes rest points, terrain notes, and suggested gathering locations.

Choose Your Direction

Short Loop — 10 km

Town paths and park connectors. Suitable for introductory group sessions or evening rides. Mostly flat terrain.

Medium Circuit — 20 km

Country roads with gentle rolling hills. Two planned rest stops. Suitable for regular group participants.

Extended Journey — 35 km

Full-day exploration through Wairarapa farmland and forest margins. Three rest points and a riverside lunch stop.

Designing a Shared Ride

Consider the Group

Match route length and terrain to the experience level of your participants. Shorter loops work well for first-time group riders.

Plan Rest Points

Schedule pauses every 8–10 km at locations with shade, seating, or scenic views. Rest stops encourage conversation and regrouping.

Check Conditions

Review weather forecasts and road conditions before setting out. Flexible routes with shorter alternatives can help if conditions change.
